Security Deposits during Online Check-in
Xentra integrates deposit protection directly into the guest check-in flow - no separate tools, no manual processes. Here's how it works.
Digital Security Deposit
Pre-authorized card holds replace cash deposits. Guest is never charged unless damage occurs.
- Configurable per unit - €100 for studios, €500 for villas, etc.
- Pre-authorized hold via Stripe - no charge to the guest
- Auto-release after check-out (configurable: 24h, 48h, 72h inspection window)
- Capture partial or full deposit with one click if damage is found
- Full audit trail - owners see deposit status per booking in reports
How it works during Online Check-in
Guest receives check-in link
Automated message via WhatsApp, SMS, or email before arrival.
ID verification
Guest uploads ID photo + biometric selfie via Stripe Identity.
Deposit hold
Pre-authorized hold placed on guest's credit card via Stripe. Check-in confirmed.
Auto-resolution
After check-out: deposit released automatically or captured if damage found.
